Ready to get plugged in at Journey?
Join us for a two-hour class where you’ll discover our values and beliefs, explore volunteer opportunities, learn about our discipleship process, and find out what it means to become a member at Journey. Best of all, Regina, Matt, and Pastor Nick will be there to share, answer questions, and help you connect in the meaningful ways you’re looking for.
This class is offered once per quarter. Click below to register.
Please contact Regina Smelser at nextsteps@journeychurchlaporte.com with any questions.
Many of us know we’re called to live out our faith, but how do we actually do that?
Join us for this 5-week interactive experience designed to break faith down into practical, everyday steps. Each session will feature a town hall-style interview followed by breakout discussions where you’ll have the opportunity to engage, ask questions, and learn alongside others.
We’re excited to learn from our own John and Sue Mowat. John, author of Interactive Christianity and creator of the original course material, will share practical insights throughout the experience, while Sue, who partnered with John by illustrating the book and supporting the development of the material, will also share from her own experiences and perspective. Journey’s Director of Discipleship, Matt Ohime, will help facilitate the discussions and breakout conversations.
This experience – including all accompanying reading materials – is provided at no cost.
Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, this experience is for you.

Join us for the Watchmen Men’s Ministry on Saturday, August 1st from 7am – 9am CST at Journey Church. Watchmen will meet on the first Saturday of each month, unless otherwise noted. We’ll gather for breakfast and dive into the Word together.
Watchmen is a brotherhood of men committed to hearing the Word of God and responding in obedience. Rooted in Ezekiel 33:7, we believe we are called to live out God’s truth and speak it faithfully when He leads – growing deeper in our walk with God, leading our families with humility and courage, and serving our communities with Christlike love while standing accountable before God and one another.

Join us Sunday, August 16, after each service in the Chapel, as Brian and Nikki share the vision for the next season of Forged Together, what this ministry will look like moving forward, and how you can get involved.
Forged Together exists to encourage and strengthen relationships through every stage of life. This isn’t a ministry only for couples who are struggling. It’s for those preparing to date, engaged couples, newlyweds, couples married for decades, those walking through difficult seasons, and even individuals who are single again after divorce or the loss of a spouse. No matter where you are in your journey, healthy, Christ-centered relationships are worth investing in.
Brian and Nikki Morros have a heart for helping people build strong, lasting relationships that honor God. As Forged Together continues to grow, they’re looking for others who share that passion to help shape and serve in this ministry.
Whether you feel called to serve on the leadership team or simply want to learn more, we’d love to have you there.
