WHERE

Journey Kids Check-In is located in the upstairs lobby. Look for the red flags highlighting the Journey Kids main entrance.

Plan Your Visit

On your first visit, look for the red Journey Kids Entrance road flags in the parking lot. As you enter the building, you will find the Journey Kids check in area to the right. Our Journey Kids volunteers will be ready to greet you, get your family registered, and show you the way to your child’s classroom. You will want to arrive early to allow yourself time for the registration process, to ask any questions you might have, and get your child into their classroom before service begins. For a faster check in process, you can pre-register your kids online

FAQ

Are the volunteers background checked?

Yes! All of our volunteers involved in the Journey Kids area in any way are background checked, reference checked, and trained.

How will I know if my child needs me?

If you are needed, one of our Journey Kids volunteers will text you.

What will my child be learning at Journey Kids?

We utilize Orange Curriculum. Use the Parent Cue app to watch your child’s lesson videos, see their memory verses, and see activities you can do with your child at home to reinforce what they are learning each week.

What does my child need to bring to church?

Infants and toddlers may want to bring diapering supplies and personal items that bring them comfort, such as a blanket or pacifier. If possible, please make sure they are labeled with their name. For older kids, everything they need will be provided.

How will allergies be handled in Journey Kids?

Snacks will be served in the rooms. We attempt to avoid common allergens. If your child has an allergy, please make sure to notify a check in team volunteer so that the information can be added to our system and printed on your child’s name tag to alert the classroom teachers.

What are the diaper changing/restroom policies at Journey Church?

Diaper changing stations are all strategically placed in the classrooms to be in view by all the classroom volunteers. Older children who may need bathroom assistance will always be accompanied by more than one adult.
